HOW IT WORKS
“Friends of HPU” is a fan-driven and alumni-led Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) program for High Point University. Friends of HPU has partnered with the BPS Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your donations goes towards community and charitable activations featuring High Point University student-athletes while providing you with a tax-deductible acknowledgement letter for your contribution.
What is Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL)?
NIL allows student-athletes to grow their brand and connect with the community. Since 2021, the NCAA has allowed collegiate student-athletes to profit off their name, image, and likeness (NIL). Student-athletes will partner with local charitable organizations for the betterment of the community. NIL activations with student-athletes can range from charitable marketing partnerships, to autograph sessions, meet-and-greet events, and more.
SUPPORT Friends of HPU
You can support Friends of HPU through a financial contribution or business expense and promote ongoing NIL activities with High Point University student-athletes, such as social media campaigns, autograph sessions, and other events.
WANT TO MAKE A CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION?
Friends of HPU has partnered with the BPS Foundation, a 501c3, to support High Point University student-athletes and help support charitable causes in their community. Supporters will earn a tax-deductible benefit for their donations. Payment options include credit card, check, wire transfer or ACH.
You can also support through Donated Securities and Donor Advised Funds (DAF). EIN: 88-2260784.
Supporters can select any of the 17 HPU sports to make a contribution to help them stay ahead in the recruiting landscape.
